Not that this project had lingered unfinished – it’s been patiently awaiting its turn since May 2007 until there were photographs available doing justice to its looks! A fine Noro Daria Multi metamorphosed into a lacy collar cum necklace, with a kumihimo-braided closure string, with macramee knots at the end.
The pattern is simply a knitted decorative edge.
>My first post in my new blog. I am participating in the No Sheep Knitalong – my present project is knitting an old-fashioned type of a collar, made of Noro Daria Multi yarn. It can be worn with the closure either at the front or in the back (then it will look a bit more like a necklace). The Noro yarn gives it enough stiffness to retain its shape.
The finished necklace is in my projects on Ravelry and in this blog, October 2010.
